A Sincere And Heartfelt Goodbye

I've come to the tough decision of ending  the site.

It was a smooth and great ride for about the first 5 1/2 years of the site but as you all know quite well by now, things have gone south as of late.

I started this site back in 2015 because I was not able to find a public site like this that was Jamband rooted. I knew that people were out there looking for the same so I tried to make a cool, safe place for pholks to come to to.

I know some of you were along for the ride since 2015 too. Back when I promoted the site in text files that I included in torrents I posted on public trackers. I thank you, and everyone else that made this entire experience one that I will always remember. It was truly a blast sharing all that I did with y'all.

I wish you all good fortune and happiness in all that you do in the future. Stay safe, and take care of each other.

Peace

**** (Update) I posted some links in the comments. Don't miss them.

Norman Blake - Pilgrimage To Rising Fawn (2024)

Notes:

Norman Blake played guitar on as many noteworthy recordings as any human alive. His style, character and mastery have included countless musicians the world around. No doubt, when his career slowed down as far as studio work and the road life no longer called as it did before, his playing and creativity continued. Over the course of a year, John Carter Cash loaded up recording gear from The Cash Cabin Studio and took a pilgrimage to Rising Fawn, Georgia, just over the Tennessee border. In Norman and Nancy's home, a wooden structure as ageless as the mountains above it, microphones were placed, and music was captured. Jamie Hartford joined the endeavor. Like John Carter's father and mother, Jamie's father John Hartford recorded and played music with Norman for many years on numerous projects. Jamey Johnson, one of the greatest voices of our time, also took the pilgrimage. Likewise, other master musicians, friends, and family, including Carlene Carter, Ana Cristina Cash and Joseph Cash contributed performances. This project is about continuing and strengthening connects with those we love and respect. It's about not letting the time pass without uniting over things we mutually love. It's about holding close. And the pilgrimage continues, with every note.

Trey and Page teased Moving In Stereo during Kill Devil Falls. After the second set, a shirt stating "First Tube is My Lube" was tossed to Trey. Fish came out for the encore wearing the shirt over his dress and wore it for Bug and First Tube. The soundcheck's Jam was brief playing over the My Soul drumbeat.
