  1. Thanks J. How do you guys like acoustic Trey? This will be my first listen.

    1. Acoustic Trey is fun. The intimate version of the songs add a neat twist to them. He is also getting better with his looping which is great. Maybe Brock Butler from Perpetual Groove can come over and teach him a few tricks with the acoustic looping. That dude is excellent with his acoustic sets.

But imo, the best part of solo Trey is his stories and banter. I literally would pay $$ to hear him tell stories for a few hrs and not play a single lick.

  3. I'd say keep the flacs coming and do away with the thumbnail mp3's they are worthless to me and anyone that actually listens to music and cares. If you can't hear that LAME swirl in those MP3's that the author of that format admits is present than you don't care. But I care.

    1. the last bit should say:

      **THEN** you don't care.

      not "than you don't care"

...says he can tell the difference between mp3's vs. flacs... yet doesn't know the difference between Then vs Than

    2. It's not about not caring, it's what you can hear. On $400 headphones and $1000++ speaker setups I can't tell the difference between 320kbps and FLAC in bind comparisons. The fact that MP3 is more universally supported and still significantly smaller is valuable for me. So Jooge (and Phish!) please keep the high quality MP3s coming!

    3. agreed Nick. MP3 is still better for my day to day listening needs. If I want to put a show on disc, ill dl the flac files. Thanks for the smaller format Jooge!

  5. THANK YOU Jooge! I couldn't agree with you more. Very cool. I'd pay just to hear the stories!

  6. Is anyone else getting an error on several of the files when you try to decompress the folder? I am getting a "Unsupported decompression method..." on several of these files. Any ideas?

  7. Simple:
.flac you can convert into mp3
.mp3 converting into .flac has no sence, it isn't lossless!

    Thanks Jooge one more time!
