Hey, thanks! And welcome back; glad you got some downtime. For me, Bobby's tone now with the pair of UA-OX attenuators / direcct boxes on top of his Fat Jimmy tube amps is sounding stellar! My guess is he is doing direct from the two OX in stereo to FOH and monitoring live through his cabs. He is able to switch between electric and acoustic guitars and keep his tone intact. I'd noticed on previous recordings sometimes he got lost in the mix or his guitar sounded too 'thin'; compared to Mayer and those PRS amps, which are incredible.. You can see those two UA-OX boxes on top of his amps in that photo you linked.
