Notes:
All soundboard except tracks 25 and 56.
Original shn's > xACT > WAV > ProTools LE > ocenaudio > xACT > FLAC > back into the wild.
I remastered all of the soundboard recordings from 1995 and many
of the audience captures.
Deciding what to use was tricky sometimes.
What are the good performances? Were they available as soundboard?
Were they decent sounding soundboards without issues?
Can everything be made to fit?? It all kind of drove me mad at times.
Each of the 'shows' as I constructed them can be burned to CD.
Each set one, one CD each. Each set two should be split between
Drums and Space. For a total of 9 CD's.
All of the text files from the original shn #'s are included.
Thanks to everyone who shared all of this in the first place.
I did not use any of the recordings that have been officially released.

FLAC & mp3 [V0] - HERE!
Thank you very much Jooge.
ReplyDeletebeautiful. I think it's easy to focus on the problems in this era, but there were some absolutely stunning moments. Thanks for putting this together, and for all the wonderful tunes you share here.
ReplyDeleteI didn't compile this, acetboy did.

DeleteHats off to acetboy, just can't get over how perfect this is, and three Drums and Space! I think you have a gift for putting these songs together, thank you.
DeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThis needed to be done and this is really well done. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeletebig ups!
ReplyDeleteHey Jooge, please extend my most heartfelt thanks to acetboy for this compilation. I havent listened to 1995 Dead in YEARS and I am loving this fan made boxset. Unbroken Chain just started so I had to hit pause, having been at those Charlette shows.
ReplyDeleteWang Dang Doodle is fantastic. I havent heard many of these versions before but I did see 6 shows that year. My only wishes, for songs I saw live, that arent involved include
Victim > Foolish Heart from 03-22-95
I was in the 9th row right in front of Jerry and those 2 songs destroyed the room. Mickey and Billy started Victim Or The Crime on their own while Foolish Heart had a gorgeous soaring build during the solo, one of my favorite band moments from that year but I dont know how it transitions on tape.
The other song would be Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds from 06-28-1995 in Detroit but that is a selfish choice because it was the last song I ever saw them perform and the light show during that tune was disgusting. Having said that, I wasnt particularly of a sober mind so take that opinion with a grain of salt but I remember being blown away. I am also a big Beatles fan soooooooooooo...................
You're welcome!! lol
DeleteThank you so much for this.Stellar.
ReplyDeleteHey, cool. Thanks for putting this up.
ReplyDeleteThat Victim>Foolish Heart was on my shortlist, being so great and all. I don't remember why I didn't use it???

Oh yeah, what's up dude? Thanks so much for this. I too have always felt that there would never be a '95 Box Set so this is great. Very well done. If you have any other compilations that you have made and you would like me to post them here, just hit me up.
DeletePeace
This is incredible, Jooge! Many thanks for all of your effort and perpetual generosity.
