Just so you know, all of these shows are worthy of flac :) I dont know about anyone else but I only download FLACs from you and would be happy to donate or something to get more flacs instead of mp3s
I will say it depends on your ears. I've got two really solid Hi-Fi systems, and I honestly can't tell the difference between a good v0-320kbps MP3 and a FLAC. That said, more options is always better!

To me it's less about the ability to tell the difference and more about preserving the original lossless audio. Too many mp3s just get re-encoded over and over and over and the quality becomes shit. I'd much rather keep lossless audio in my collection which can be down-coded into mp3s if needed. You can always convert lossless files to lossy files but not the other way around, and it's not like hard drive space is very expensive these days. Plus, I am trying to start an archive.org type archiving site that has no restrictions on posting official released sbd recordings. But yeah, it's more of an OCD hoarder type deal than actually thinking they sound much different.
1) I have a relatively slow connection and it takes 3 times longer to upload a FLAC show/album than a V0. 6 times longer if its a FLAC24/96.
2) My download stats show an almost 11-1 difference in FLAC to mp3 downloads for the shows/albums threads that I post both formats in, so its overwhelmingly apparent that most ppl that come here want mp3s.
It's all good man and thank you for your efforts. I understand it's probably not the most convenient for you since so many people prefer mp3s which is why I suggested a donation option. You could still have a donation option either way and I'm sure some people would be happy to donate since you saved them so much money. Also, torrents are a way you could go. I would be personally willing to download and seed (indefinitely) every single torrent you post of FLACs. I know people seeding has been a problem with some of your other posts which is why I figured you don't do it as often. Anyway, keep up the good work!
