Phish - The Non-Album Songs, 2009-2018 (2018)

Our buddy Brad made this compilation that I wanted to share with you all. Thanks Brad.

"Exactly as the title says.

Got fed up with all the stray 1-off performances of cool songs and the multitude of non-album originals Phish has thrown at us since 2009. I decided to compile, based on year, 4 volumes of these recordings and present them as if they are "lost" studio albums.

That means fades, edits, crowd noise removed/faded as best as possible. My editing skills suck but this is simply about the SONGS! That means a 25 minute Soul Planet is faded out at about 6 minutes when the SONG comes to an end and a "natural" concluding point (if this were a studio album) presents itself. Please keep this angle in mind when listening.

Other lengthy tracks (Mercury) were left in tact as the "album's" token epic track (TTE, Petrichor, etc) and because there was no good edit point. Also, even though the PERFORMANCE may be from a later date than the volume said song is on, all of the songs on each volume DEBUTED in the timeframe listed. Meaning Mercury came out in 2015 but the performance I present is from 2018. Got it?

In other words, listen to these as fake studio albums. Try to forget that these are live recordings. That was my mission statement when making these.

All that being said, I put a lot of time into this (even though a lot of edits/fades are still subpar) and hope you wonderful people get as much enjoyment out of these tracks as I finally am now :)"
